The Friends First concept was founded on the fact that it is difficult to meet people -anywhere - but particularly in the Okanagan. Friends First is not a dating agency or matchmaking service. We simply create opportunities for local people to take part in - and the rest is up to our members.

The Friends First goal is to create fun and interactive social opportunities for our members to participate in. Our objective is to connect people with other people, not to play matchmaker. We welcome all mature people including singles, new comers to the city and even those who are just wanting to meet new friends. Some of our members are single - and actively seeking that someone special, and some are involved becasue they enjoy the active lifestyle and social opportunities we provide.

Friend First offers a variety of options for members to meet others in their area. Active, social, group activities like wine tours, skating, and golfing, are regular events for Friends First members. Those who do not wish to take part in our group activities may view and chat with similar members on our website. All mailing and chatting is internal so there is no non-member access to our site. This insures that all those on line have been previously screened and are aware of our policies. For those who are wishing to meet someone special, Friends First can also arrange private lunches or dinners. This is a great option for those who wish to be discreet and steer away from group socials.
